I’ve wanted to shoot my friend Jannet for a while now. She was moving back home and I had an idea and location in my head. It was to be shot at the GO Bus terminal in Oakville, Ontario, Canada right out Sheridan College. I had a concept of waiting, waiting for someone, something. It originally was supposed to be a series of a few shots - a wider landscape overview shot with a few more close in portraits. After looking through the photos I ended up with one beautiful and strong portrait that I feel still captivates the feeling of waiting. Found this Moscow based photographer Mercuro B. Cotto a while back as I was checking out My Modern Metropolis. Really love the colours and tones and emotion in the first photo.
